CTRMP Eligibility Requirements

Global travel spans diverse destinations, personnel, and sectors worldwide. The Certified Travel Risk Management Professional (CTRMP) is designed for professionals from diverse backgrounds who meet the following criteria:

  • Three Years Experience: Individuals with THREE or more years of work experience are eligible to apply for the CTRMP without the requirement of an educational degree.
  • Two Years Experience: Professionals with TWO or more years of work experience must hold a bachelor's or college degree, or its equivalent, to be eligible for the CTRMP.
  • One Year Experience: Professionals with ONE year of work experience must possess a post-graduate degree or its equivalent to be eligible for the CTRMP.

Additional requirements:

  • Have not been convicted of any criminal offence that would reflect negatively on the security profession, IQC Academy, or the certification program.
  • Willingness to sign and agree to abide by the IQC Academy Certification Code of Conduct.
  • Willingness to agree to abide by the policies of the IQC Academy Certification programs as outlined in the application form.

5. When I will receive the CTRMP exam results?

You will receive your exam results within 2-3 working days after taking the CTRMP exam.

6. What are the CTRMP Retaking options?

If you fail the exam or are unable to attend the exam at the designated time, you can retake the CTRMP exam 3 times within a year free of cost. The 1st retake exam can be taken after 2 weeks. The 2nd retake exam after 5 weeks and the 3rd retake exam after 10 weeks.

7. How long is the CTRMP certification valid for?

The CTRMP certification will be valid for 3 years after passing the CTRMP exam and it will have to be renewed after that time to showcase credential.

8. What is the Recertification process and fees?

CTRMP-certified professionals have to fill out a survey every year from IQC academy which will verify their contribution and commitment to continuous improvement. CTRMP-certified professionals have to pay a 50 Euros recertification fee every 3 years to renew their CTRMP certification.
